Finding y & x-intercept for 4x + 12y = -18 ?
I don’t get how to substitute the 0 thing.
to find the x intercept, replace y with 0.
4x + 12(0) = -18
4x + 0 = -18
4x = -18
x = -4.5
to find the y intercept, replace x with 0
4(0) + 12y = -18
0 + 12y = -18
12y = -18
y = -1.5
